J4J = fun!!!

Here are some pics of the party rooms that I painted at Jump for Joey.
Its one of those bouncy places that kids love.......
They have 4 very large party rooms that can be reserved.
One party room had been painted with a mural previously by another artist.

This first one is a jungle theme.

This one is a beachy theme....

and finally we have the sports theme.....

I tried to create photo ops in every room.

Until later, jumpers......Gotta split.....TFL!!!!!!

Another anniversary present for my hubster.

First let me introduce you to Looloo.  She is the most gentle dog. When we feed her treats she won't take them with her teeth, she takes them with her big 'ol droopy lips.
We got her from a friend.  They found her wandering on the road.  My friend checked all the local vets and shelters and no one had reported her missing.

Our vet says she's probably about 4 yrs. old.  We've had her over a year, so I would say s shes 5 yrs. old.
Everyone that comes to our house looks at her and says "Wow, she's a big dog !"
I really don't see her as being that big.  (She is 75 lbs.)
I guess because she acts so demure and lady like.

We have since lost Booboo,  our dog from the previous post.
My hubs even purchased a headstone for his grave.
He was soooo loved by us all.
Looloo only spent a little time with him
before he died....but she walked around a few days after looking for him.

Now on to the REAL reason you're here.

I painted another picture for my hubs to celebrate out anniversary.
He is so infatuated with Looloo its ridiculous.
So I HAD to paint a portrait of her for him to hang in honor along side Booboo portrait.

I think I captured her sweetness and her soft personality.

The hubs was so happy that he had one of her the hang in his office.

Until later, painted pet pals.......Gotta split......TFL!!!!!

Happy Anniversary....Sugarbear!!!!

Jeff, aka Sugarbear, was totally surprised by his gift!
Previously he kept picking up the box and saying that there wasn't anything in it.  Because it was light and nothing was shaking.  Next time I'm going to put a bell in the package....bwahahahahahahahahaha!!!

He was so excited when he saw I had painted a picture of Booboo. He immmediately  went to get the hammer and a nail to proudly hang it in office.   Jeff has had Booboo for 14 yrs. and he is like a son.  He's getting old now and can't get around like he used to.  We've even discussed what we are going to do when that time comes.  But until then we are just going to enjoy him to the fullest.

The finished product.

As a painter, its very hard to paint someone (in this case...our fur-baby) you know; as you see them differently as a stranger would.   As most people do when they look at the people and/or that things they love.  You don't see the big nose, the mole, the inverted mohawk (our daughter's wording for her daddy's head....teehee) or maybe their slight skin discoloration.  You see the beauty in the eyes,  their sweet smile, etc......  So, I have a hard time capturing the image as it really is and not the way I see it thru my loving eyes.  I struggle with that everytime I try to do something like the pics above.  But I pushed thru and made it happen 'cause I knew it would mean so much to Jeff.  He now keeps telling me I need to paint one of Looloo, our other fur-baby....  I will as soon as I get over this one.  Bwahahahahahahahaha!!!
Besides his birthday isn't until August....!!!

Until later, future projects.....Gotta split.....TFL!!!

News you've been waiting on!!!!

Here it is....... This has been a long time coming. Jeff is now the proud father of an 89 lbs bouncing baby girl.....Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!! Yep, Jeff adopted Harlee and it was final today. It was hard not to tell everyone about our adventure thus far, but as you can guess it was a private matter and now we can shout it from the roof tops......{Harlee is now a ROOD!!!}

SO, maybe now our lives will settle down and we can get back to "our" normal.....LOL....and I can get back to creating and posting.....Yippy skippy!!!!!!

Until later, my pretties...........Gotta split {celebrating to do}........TFL!!!!!!

Here doggie, doggie, doggie....

These are pics of the bonding room at the Carroll County Animal Shelter bonding room that I finished not too long ago. This room was fun to do.....hard to tell but I painted the animals life size to look more realistic. The bonding rooms are very small so the mural takes up the whole room.
If you are thinking about having a mural painted, please give me a call for a free estimate and/or consultation.
Thanks for looking and I look forward to hearing from you!!!

Tater House in Roopville

This is the first painting I did for my hubby. He wanted me to paint this mural of a local building that is somewhat a historical site here in Roopville, GA. It's a few miles down the road from our house. I took the pic and had it framed for him too. It's hanging directly over the mural vignette. I took a little artistic license as he wanted me to paint our dog in the picture somewhere, so I put him on the front porch. I also added a few daisies around, after all they are my favorite flowers!!!

Thanks for looking!!!

Here fishy, fishy, fishy...........

Pics of the aquarium scene in the cat holding room at the Carroll County Animal Shelter....... There are 4 large windows between each of the paintings..... it looks like one huge aquarium for the cats to look at all day. There are other projects the director wants me to paint.... he gives me a general idea and I run with it. Better than running with scissors, huh??? Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!! I'm having so much fun doing it.

Enjoy the view, and listen closely, you can almost hear the water!!!!

Catzzzzzzzzzz......

These are some pictures from the Carroll County Animal Shelter (GA). I painted cats around the whole room of one of Bonding Room #2. Was a stretch for me, as I'm not really a cat person. Sorry if I offended anyone, but I believe you are either a cat lover or a dog lover....I'm the latter.

Hope you enjoyed them..... I truly enjoy what I do!!!!
